Indian Head Massage

Aromatic Indian Head Massage is based on the traditional form of head massage, or 'champi', which has been practiced in India for over 1,000 years. It involves massaging oils into the shoulders, neck, head and scalp using varying massage pressures and rhythms to stimulate these areas. It is an excellent therapy for relieving stress, upper body tension, and promoting a healthy scalp and hair.

Essential oils are extracted from plants, herbs, flowers, fruits and trees and possess distinctive therapeutic properties. For purity, I choose to use organic or wild crafted carrier and essential oils.

What to Expect

Each client has a full consultation to determine which oils will be most beneficial for them. The oils are mixed into a natural carrier oil and applied to the shoulders and head via massage.

The therapist leaves the room while you undress the upper half of the body down to your underwear. Your torso is wrapped in a clean towel for your modesty and warmth. After the massage you are provided with paper towels to remove any excess oil from your body. The therapist ensures your privacy while you redress.

Clients with Long Hair

If your hair is shoulder length or below and you're worried about oil transferring to your clothes, it's a good idea to bring a hair bobble, -grip or -slide with you. After the massage you can use it to secure your hair so it doesn't touch your clothes.
